Dysport™ is an injectable that is injected into the muscles of the face to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles between the eyebrowfas in men and women ages 18 to 65. Dallas cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Vasdev Rai injects Dysport into five different points above and in between the eyebrows to relax the muscles and smooth the skin.
Dysport works in much the same way as BOTOX®. One injection of Dysport blocks the signal the nerves send to the muscles telling the muscles to move and contract. Dysport treatment prevents the muscles from moving between the eyebrows resulting in a smoother, non furrowed brow. Untreated facial muscles around the treated areas continue to contact and move normally. This allows you to show facial expressions freely.
Your results from Dysport will last up to four months. You can have another Dysport treatment after 90 days. You will notice little to no down time after receiving the treatment and the results appear almost immediately.
