How to Choose Between Restylane and Radiesse?

If you are choosing whether to have Radiesse or Restylane injections, it is a judgment call that is entirely up to you. Both injectable materials are basically interchangeable. If you are considering lip enhancement, Radiesse is unsuitable because it can form nodules within the lips.

Radiesse and Restylane differ in very few areas. For the most part, the differences lie in the cost for each material and how long the results last from each material. While Radiesse costs more per syringe, this cost is usually offset because fewer syringes are needed to produce the same results as Restylane. Radiesse also tends to produce longer lasting results than Restylane.

Restylane
What is it? Restylane is non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid gel. It is available in two different syringe sizes to be injected into deep dermis.
