In today's fast paced life, it's more important than ever that you look as good as you feel. Every day, many men and women choose to erase the subtle signs of aging with a facelift, or rhytidectomy. With age, our faces tend to lose the depth and definition of a more youthful appearance. As we age, we begin to see evidence of the inevitable pull of gravity on the soft tissues of the face. Creases form between the nose and mouth. “Jowls” become evident along the jaw line, and the neck may take on a wrinkled appearance. An Endoscopic Facelift can help reverse this process.
The advent of endoscopic plastic surgery and endoscopic facelifts in particular has revolutionized facial plastic surgery. Through the use of a small, hidden incision, Facelift Surgeon in Dallas, Dr. Rai is board certified and can achieve exceptional results. Some of the advantages of endoscopic facelifts include:
- Minimal scarring
- Minimal disruption of hair
- Preservation of facial sensation
- Minimal bruising
Dr. Rai's facelift rejuvenates the face by lifting cheeks to highlight the cheekbones, repositioning the facial and neck muscles, reestablishing a tight and smooth jaw line, and removing excess facial and neck skin. Dr. Rai specializes in endoscopic facelifts to achieve exceptional results with less scarring and faster healing times. His endoscopic facelift procedure results in a new look that is younger, more natural and lasts longer.
"I feel much, much better. I can't believe how much better I feel about myself when I look in the mirror. I can wear less makeup since I'm no longer trying to camouflage a problem. Most of my friends know and like the results, two people who did not know told me I looked 'great'. The healing process took longer than I thought, but the results are worth it."
The actual procedure may take several hours, and is performed our out-patient surgery center. Surgery may be done under local or general anesthesia and most patients can return home the same day as long as someone is available to drive you home and stay for a day or two if needed. A non-strenuous work schedule can be resumed ten days to two weeks after the surgery, but special make-up will probably still be needed to camouflage bruising.
A facelift can truly rejuvenate the face, and return to you a sense of youthfulness, confidence, and energy. Come in for a consultation to preview your new look with video imaging.
