Types of Forehead Lift
Board-certified Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Vasdev Rai provides a complete range of forehead lift options. This enables Dr. Rai to personalize your surgical procedure and offer you the most pleasing and complementary results. The best way to learn which forehead lift option is right for you is by calling our Dallas, Texas office at 972-566-6500 and scheduling a consultation with Dr. Rai.
Forehead Lift Options
The two most common forehead lift options are corneal, also known as open, and endoscopic brow lift. With a corneal forehead lift, Dr. Rai makes an incision at the anterior hairline, most often running from ear to ear. This incision gives Dr. Rai complete access to underlying muscle and tissue, but is often unnecessary, even when addressing advanced signs of aging.
The endoscopic forehead lift is completed with very small, yet incredibly precise medical instruments. With this option, incisions just large enough for an endoscope are made along the hairline. The use of an endoscope allows Dr. Rai to lift and smooth the forehead while minimizing surgical risks, recovery time, and visible scarring. Due to the many benefits offered by endoscopic forehead lift, it has become the preferred technique for many of our patients.
