Two Ways We Can Improve the Breasts
A lot of woman want beautiful breasts that are shapely, round, smooth, firm, and full. For many women, having larger and perky breasts is an essential part of their femininity, especially when showing off that new dress. Unfortunately, not every woman is born with the breasts they want. Everybody has different body types and as you grow older, many changes can occur as well.
As you grow and develop, the breasts constantly change as you reach different stages in life. Whether it’s a result of pregnancy, fluctuations in weight, or simply the aging process, the perky look your breasts have may not stay the same and their size will change as well. These factors often result in developing a saggy breasts with excess loose skin, giving them a droopy appearance.
There’s not much you can do on your own to fix this issue, but with the right help, you can say goodbye to those saggy breasts and hello to a more beautiful and attractive look. That help you need comes in the form of breast lift and breast augmentation surgeries.
Give Your Breasts Youthful Contours with a Breast Lift
A breast lift, also known as mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to help give the breasts an uplifted and youthful appearance by eliminating any excess skin and fat. The procedure is ideal for women who don’t want an increase in size, but want a perkier appearance that looks shapely and proportional to the rest of their bodies.
This procedure is commonly combined with a breast augmentation to experience an increase in size as well as an enhanced look.
Increase Your Breast Size with a Breast Augmentation Using Implants
Breast augmentation or augmentation mammoplasty is a surgery performed to increase the size of breasts by inserting silicone or saline implants.
Breast augmentation helps in:
- Improving your overall appearance if your breasts are too small.
- Correct breasts that are unevenly sized.
The implant size is chosen based on your own specifications and what’s suggested by the plastic surgeon performing the surgery. During a consultation, you can learn more about the process and even decide on the type of implant best suited to fit your needs.
What Is a Combined Breast Augmentation and Lift, and How is it Performed?
Many women undergoing a breast enhancement surgery often decide to undergo a combination procedure for a significant boost in aesthetic appeal. During this procedure, your doctor may also reposition the nipples to a more centralized location to give your breasts a more proportional look.
To begin the surgery, your doctor will make incisions around the areola and down the breast crease to gain access to the underlying tissues and remove any excess skin in the treatment area. This is also referred to as the “lollipop” scar. Surgeons place implants through these incisions under the pectoral chest muscles. Silicone or Saline is used in most standard breast augmentation implants.
Once the necessary corrections are made, your doctor will close and bandage the incisions to hold everything together as you heal.
Breast Lift with Augmentation: All That You Should Know
This combination surgery is quite complex as it works to not only modify the shape of the breasts, but the size as well. General anesthesia is prescribed during an augmentation-mastopexy surgery to help you feel more comfortable during the treatment process.
Patients can expect the surgery to last between 90 to 150 minutes. The estimated recovery time is one-two weeks. Patients must avoid any vigorous activities for at least 3 weeks after the surgery. Common side effects include slight swelling and bruising, but these will subside in time as you heal. The final result might be visible only after a few months.
