What to Expect from Your Botox® Treatment

BOTOX injections only take about 10 minutes. They work by relaxing the muscles beneath your skin, which allows your skin to then relax and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. You can return to your daily activities immediately after you receive injections. The lack of recovery time makes these injections ideal for busy men and women.

Your results will last approximately 3-4 months, and then you will need to return for another treatment.

Botox® FAQ

You will see noticeable improvement of your moderate to severe wrinkles within a few days of receiving your treatment. The treated areas will continue to improve for 30 days following treatment. Results do vary from patient to patient. Your results should last from 3-4 months.
BOTOX is commonly used to treat wrinkles around the eyes, mouth, and forehead. It works well to improve these areas:
  • Horizontal lines on the forehead
  • Furrows between the eyebrows
  • Crow’s feet around the eyes
  • Wrinkles under the eyes
  • Dimples in the chin
  • Prominent bands of neck muscles
As with any injectable, there are possible side effects. The side effects of BOTOX include: headache, dry mouth, fatigue, discomfort, neck pain, double vision, dry eyes, itching, rash, dizziness, wheezing. Dr. Rai will discuss these possible side effects with you and address any concerns you may have regarding your injections.
