Ultrasonic, or ultrasound-assisted liposuction uses ultrasound energy to liquefy the fat before it is removed from your body. The fat is then removed smoothly with less trauma to the tissue and, therefore, less bruising, swelling, and downtime. This approach also targets denser fat deposits more effectively, for beautiful results even with the most stubborn pockets of fat.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a high pitched sound wave that is not detectable to the human ear. When used in liposuction, it creates a vibration that bursts the fat cell membrane, without damaging other tissues, such as skin and blood vessels.

How it is Gentler and More Effective

The liquefied fat is sucked out through the cannula. Traditional liposuction without ultrasound forces and rips out the fat cells, and can even tear other tissues in the process, causing more bruising and swelling. When the fat is liquefied, it comes out smoothly and easily.

Using ultrasound we can target the specific areas of fat to be removed more precisely, and we can more easily and gently remove denser more difficult fat deposits. For you, this means a more comfortable and shorter recovery, and beautiful, predictable results.
